Making a meal of things

4 days to go and counting.

Tonight we took our friends mentioned in our last blog for a meal as a pre-thank you for everything they will be doing for us while we are away.

It's times like this when an enjoyable social evening, relaxing with friends brings home just how important friends are. We feel so lucky and honoured to be part of their lives and will miss them all while we are away. They sang us out of the restaurant with a rendition of 'Happy Holidays' which was both embarrassing and delightful at the same time.
